ABOUT ME

Nested Sequence 04.00_00_25_00.Still008.png

I trained in Liverpool and London for 15 years and previously worked for a year in New Zealand in 2012/13. I have spent time working across multiple hospitals in London, including specialist gastroenterology centres. I’m involved in clinical research on a regular basis.

I enjoy running in the Redwoods and playing cricket on weekends in the Summer. The New Zealand lifestyle is suiting me very well! Here's a good website to check out if you're interested: www.rotoruanz.com

"I have heard about gallstones but never really knew any details about what they are. Dr Patel used simple illustrations to show me exactly where my gallstones were and why they were causing me pain. I was then able to explain it to my family as he gave me a print out to take home. He even emailed it to me directly!"

Peter Thompson, 67

"During the lockdown, I was seen by Dr Rajan Patel via a video consultation. He shared the screen so that I was able to view my results and the trends in my inflammation tests. I could see they were improving on the treatment he had started and this was a HUGE relief!"

Jane Treadwell, 34

"After my colonoscopy, Dr Rajan went through the report with me. The photos were really helpful. I know it was all normal and reassuring, but he was still attentive to the symptoms of abdominal pain and bloating that weren’t going away. We agreed on a plan together and this filled me with confidence. I would be pleased to recommend him to my friends and family."
